Preparing to leave airport in NC

Arriving at airport in Belize. I got in trouble within five minutes of entering the country! The sign clearly says, "No Photography." I was reprimanded, but at least they didn't confiscate my camera. I honestly didn't see the notice.

Just missed the water taxi to San Pedro and had a two hour wait for the next one. Took a walk about and had to get my picture taken in front of the Belize City library (writer and English teacher nerd).

Still had 90 minutes to wait so what else could I do but visit the Blackbeard Tavern, have a Belikin, and make friends with the bartenders.

Pedro's Inn where we stayed in San Pedro Town on Ambergris Caye. This side of the street is the hostel and office.

Deluxe accomodations. Note the bed high up off the floor on 2x4 legs.

I thought the room was overdecorated and gaudy. What do you think?

After moving in and adding a walk-in closet. The television was gone the next day. I gave it to a colleague who didn't have one. No television or cell phone for 2 weeks. It was wonderful!
